Την Επιτετραμμένη στην Πρεσβεία των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών της Αμερικής στην Αθήνα, κυρία Maria Olson, είχαν την τιμή να υποδεχθούν την Πέμπτη 10 Ιουλίου στο Πολεμικό Μουσείο, ο Πρόεδρος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Πολεμικού Μουσείου, Αντιπτέραρχος (Ι) ε.α. Κωνσταντίνος Καραμεσίνης, και ο Β’ Αντιπρόεδρος, Αντιστράτηγος ε.α. Ιωάννης Τζουνάκος.
✍️ Την κ. Olson συνόδευσε ο Ακόλουθος Άμυνας των ΗΠΑ, Captain Mark Imblum, καθώς και ο Διοικητής Αποσπάσματος Πεζοναυτών, Gunnery Sergeant Gregory II Preston.
️ Ακολούθησε περιήγηση στους εκθεσιακούς χώρους του Μουσείου, κατά την οποία οι προσκεκλημένοι είχαν την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουν από κοντά την Ελληνική Ιστορία καθώς και σημαντικά κειμήλια αυτής.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Athens, Ms. Maria Olson, was honored with a warm welcome at the War Museum of Athens on Thursday, July 10, by the President of the Board of Directors, Lt Gen (HAF) (P) (ret.) Konstantinos Karamesinis, and the Second Vice President, Lt Gen (ret.) Ioannis Tzounakos.
✍️ Ms. Olson was accompanied by the U.S. Defense Attaché, Captain Mark Imblum, as well as the Marine Detachment Commander, Gunnery Sergeant Gregory II Preston.
️ This was followed by a tour of the Museum’s Exhibition Halls, during which the guests had the opportunity to learn more about Greek history and important artifacts.
