The philosophy of this activity included the formation of two independent exhibitions in existing military spaces (LAF) or in appropriate emblematic buildings of the respective municipalities, in order to present selected historical exhibits, heirlooms and other educational material of the War Museum to primary and secondary school students. of the country.
Experiential school education
The War Museum of Athens, as a place of active learning through special tours and experiential programs, created a pioneering Art Program for elementary & high school children entitled τικέςArt Battles at the War Museum¨.
The aim of the program is the contact of primary and secondary education students with Greek History, in a creative way, which combines History with Art.
The children, through a tour of the museum’s spaces and exhibits, create a painting or construction with simple materials, giving life to what they saw and learned.
