The War Museum, being a body for promoting the war history of the Greeks from ancient times to the present day, created the original game of historical relics “Hunting” in the Museum, with the aim of promoting the active learning of primary school students.
For the needs of the game, emblematic relics are used, each of which has its own story, which in combination with a separate puzzle acquaints the student with the acquisition of knowledge.
This particular game is part of a wider framework of original actions to increase the appeal of the Museum to children by cultivating their interest in history, while activating their skills, perception and imagination.
In the above context, the children are given the opportunity to get to know the exhibition spaces and the relics, appropriately guided by the digital footprints (QR codes) which they must discover along the way.
Looking with respect to the future and dynamically entering the new demands of the digital age, we aspire to continue the creative effort by helping to empower students and visitors alike.
