Mr. Liaskos, addressing the President of “Smile of the Child” Kostas Giannopoulos, praised the timeless, commendable and remarkable work of this voluntary organization in Greek society. At the same time, Mr. Liaskos comprehensively presented the

social work of the Armed Forces, noting at the same time that it would be a great pleasure for him, when the pandemic disappears, to welcome his young friends for a tour of the War Museum.

From the side of, Mr. Giannopoulos expressed his warmest thanks for this kind gesture, presented briefly the upcoming actions of the volunteer organization he heads and concluded by characterizing the War Museum as a “frontline” of events and actions for the celebration of the 200 years of the National War of Independence.

The Educational Board Games for 1821 -under the auspices of the War Museum- are part of the partnership and cooperation between the War Museum and the Hellenic Society “Educational Games Desylas”.

During the visit, refreshments – sponsored by the industry “BAP P. Kougios SA” were distributed.
