He was born in Athens in 1947.<\/p>\n

He graduated from the German School of Athens in 1965.<\/p>\n

He graduated from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany in 1970 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur).<\/p>\n

He graduated from Kings College University, London in 1971 with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n

He graduated from University College London in 1972 with a Diploma in Naval Engineering (Department of Naval Architecture, English Navy).<\/p>\n

He graduated from University College London in 1972 with a Master of Science degree in Naval Architecture (Department of Naval Architecture, English Navy).<\/p>\n

He founded Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd. and Lavinia Corporation in 1977 and remains their Managing Director to date, owning 88 vessels. <\/p>\n
