General Information

By decision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, following a positive opinion of the Central Archaeological Council (KAS), the War Museum was granted part of the Firkas Fortress in Chania, for the development of the Chania Branch of the city. The relevant studies are already being carried out and the start of the conversion of the site is expected, in order to make it suitable for housing the Museum, with the cooperation and assistance of the Municipality of Chania.
