The book contains 200 original documents relating to the period of the National Resistance (1942-1944), selected from the personal archive of General Napoleon Zervas, which is kept in the Historical Archive of the War Museum. The documents are published for the first time, and the publication has been enriched with dozens of photographs of the period, an extensive historical tribute to the EDES, and an index of names with a short biography. The variety in the subjects covered by the documents gives the reader-researcher the opportunity to get to know several small historical fragments that make up the big picture of an important period of modern Greek history.
