The War Museum, since its establishment, has left a strong imprint on Greek society, promoting the War History of Greece, from antiquity to the recent past.

The museum is a living projection of the freedom and security that the Armed Forces of our country offer to the Greek society throughout time. At the same time, it is a tribute to our warrior ancestors and an expression of respect for their sacrifices, so that we can enjoy a free and prosperous homeland in its present form and chart our course for the future, based on the lessons of the past.

It is a dynamic place of active learning, where the visitor has the opportunity to walk through the history of the struggles of our people, which come to life before his eyes, through the relics of various historical periods. At the same time, it tends to cultivate a peaceful consciousness among visitors, especially among young people, who are charged with the duty of building a more peaceful world.

Our aim is to further upgrade it, through a network of interactive actions, playing a leading role in the modern era.
