On the 14th and 15th of October 2024, following an invitation by the Minister of National Defence, Mr Nikolaos Dendias, a delegation from the Imperial War Museum of London, consisting of the Director General Ms Caro Howell and the Director of Narrative and Content, Mr Peter Johnston, visited the War Museum in Athens.
In the presence of members of the Board of Directors of the War Museum, mutual information was provided on issues of museum education, organizational structures, applied technology and conservation of relics and exhibits, views were exchanged in view of the planned upgrading of the War Museum’s facilities and the upgrading of the services provided and the foundations were laid for further cooperation between the two Museums.
