The War Museum commemorates its 50th anniversary with the issue of a collector’s coin in cooperation with the Bank of Greece and the Mint.

The War Museum is pleased to announce its cooperation with the Bank of Greece and the Mint for the issue of a collector’s coin dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the War Museum. The initiative is part of the Museum’s anniversary activities, aiming to highlight its historical course and its contribution to the promotion of national memory.

The collector’s coin has a face value of €5 and is decorated with characteristic artistic elements, linked to the Museum’s mission and its historical identity.

Its technical form is proof-like, made of 33.3% silver (Ag), with a diameter of 31 mm and a weight of 17 g. The maximum mintage is set at 2,000 pieces. The issue is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and special packaging (trifold case).
