The event was organized by the Municipality of Sintiki, paying tribute to the defenders of the forts. The War Museum presented rare exhibits and archival material, bringing the public closer to the memory and history of the era.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the War Museum, Vice Admiral (I) (retired) Konstantinos Karamesinis, and the Second Vice President, Lieutenant General (retired). Ioannis Tzounakos attended the commemoration event.
