The common will for a future strategic cooperation between the War Museum and the internationally recognized “Phoenix Publishing @ Media Group” was confirmed during the visit of a delegation of the Publishing House to the War Museum, as a result of the recent visit of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to China.

The President of the Group and the Director of Publications and Public Relations Zhang Chaoyang and Fan Ming (in a discussion with the President of the War Museum Anastasios Liasco) elaborated on their future cooperation, focusing on the following axes:

-Exchange of material on both sides with relevant to the cultures and history of the two countries.

-Reinforcement of the War Museum Library with important material, which will be provided by the China Publishing House.

During their tour of the exhibition halls of the War Museum, the foreign dignitaries were informed about the Museum, were impressed by the rare Chinese sword from the collection of Peter Saroglou, as well as by collector’s albums with rare photographs from the places of Asia, where Greek Culture was spread.

At the same time, they expressed their absolute satisfaction for the work that is generally carried out at the Museum, but also their admiration for the rare collection of books and for the digitized Archive of Hellenistic Studies of Dr. Potitsa Gregorakou.

It is worth noting that the delegation consisted of fifteen executives of the Group, which – for the record – is the largest publishing house in China and the 10th largest in the world, with one hundred and ninety subsidiaries and thirteen thousand employees.
