Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε την Πέμπτη, 5 Ιουνίου 2025, στο Πολεμικό Μουσείο το διεθνές συνέδριο «The Korean War – 75 Years of History and Memory», με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 75 ετών από την έναρξη του Πολέμου στην Κορέα.
Η εκδήλωση συνδιοργανώθηκε από το Πολεμικό Μουσείο, την Πρεσβεία της Δημοκρατίας της Κορέας στην Ελλάδα και τη Society of the U.S. 3rd Infantry Division, με τη συμμετοχή διακεκριμένων ομιλητών από τη Κορέα, τις ΗΠΑ, την Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο και το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο. Παράλληλα, οι επισκέπτες είχαν την ευκαιρία να περιηγηθούν σε έκθεση ιστορικών φωτογραφιών και κειμηλίων από τη δράση του Ελληνικού Εκστρατευτικού Σώματος στην Κορέα, καθώς και να παρακολουθήσουν σπάνιο κινηματογραφικό υλικό από το αρχείο του Πολεμικού Μουσείου.

The international conference “The Korean War – 75 Years of History and Memory” was successfully held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the War Museum, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War.
The event was co-organized by the War Museum of Athens, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Greece and the Society of the U.S. 3rd Infantry Division, with the participation of distinguished speakers from Korea, the United States, Greece, Cyprus and the United Kingdom. At the same time, visitors had the opportunity to browse an exhibition of historical photographs and relics from the activities of the Greek Expeditionary Corps in Korea, as well as to watch rare film footage from the War Museum’s archive.
