Chris Anastasiou was born in Athens in 1974. He is a graduate of the Department of History and Archaeology of the University of Athens. He conducted his post-graduate studies in the field of Modern and Contemporary Greek History in the same Department during 2001-2003. In 2012, he was appointed as PhD in the University of Athens thanks to his work on Greece's economic relations with Great Powers during 1926-1928. He is working at "Konstantinos G. Karamanlis” Foundation in Athens since 2004 and as head of the Historical Archives since 2009.
His scientific and research interests include political and economic diplomacy, social policy and the ideological principles of Greek political parties.
